Course Overview
This course equips delegates with the knowledge and practical skills to monitor workplace fire safety and advise on appropriate action to minimise the risk of fire and develop practical solutions to react when fires occur. The course will also provide the delegate with the legal duties regarding fire safety, of the country in which the organisation operates.
Who the Course is For
This course is designed for anybody who has responsibility for fire safety and evacuation.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of the course the delegate will be able to -
- Understand the importance of fire safety.
- Understand the combustion process and spread of fire.
- Understand Human behaviour in an emergency situation.
- Identify suitable fire prevention and protection measures and develop practical solutions to minimise the risk of fire in the workplace.
- Plan, carry out and evaluate the effectiveness of fire drills
- Appreciate the requirements of fire safety law
- Plan, Carry Out and Supervise emergency evacuations
Assessment
The delegates are continually assessed throughout the Course and by a short test to confirm retention of knowledge.
Certification
On successful completion of this course the delegate will receive a Connaught Compliance Gulf Services Certificate.
