Teresa Budworth, Chief Executive of NEBOSH who was in Dubai attending Intersec, the leading health & safety exhibition also visited one of Connaught' NEBOSH International General Certificate courses. She met the delegates who were busy studying the modules in preparation for the exam led by course tutor Pat James who is a chartered Health & Safety Professional.
Teresa gave some background on who NEBOSH (The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) are, formed in 1979 as an independent examining board and awarding body. They offer a comprehensive range of globally-recognised, vocationally-related qualifications designed to meet the health, safety, environmental and risk management needs of all places of work. NEBOSH courses lead to NEBOSH qualifications attracting over 25,000 candidates annually and are offered by over 400 course providers in 80 countries around the world.
She talked about the excellent relationship Connaught have with NEBOSH established over many years, recognising Connaught as one of the largest providers and pioneer of NEBOSH courses in the Gulf with consistently excellent pass rates. |
